Speak Your Mind on Identity Theft

There are many ways to contact your representatives in the House to let them know what you think about the Identity Piracy Act and the Identity Theft and Assumption Deterrence Act while they are still pending in the legislature.

The Library of Congress web site has a page of links to email directories, many of which will tell you who your representatives are (based on zip codes) and even send your email directly through their forms:

.

http://www.lcweb.loc.gov/global/legislative/email.html

The House also maintains a web site of its own, with links to some representatives' email addresses, at http://www.house.gov.

The Congressional Switchboard can tell you who your representatives are based on your zip code, and will connect callers to individual representatives' offices. Call the House operator at 1 (202) 225-3121.

And there's always the old-fashioned way. Send letters to:

.

The Honorable (Your Representative's Name), United States House of Representatives, Washington, D.C. 20515
